Alana: I am looking for fiction, both literary and commercial, as well as that magical blending of the two. In literary fiction I like to see an aspect of a culture different than my own. For commercial fiction, I find myself drawn to projects that present contemporary social issues. I love a good mystery - my taste leans toward cozies rather than thrillers.

I am not accepting nonfiction projects at the present time.

Michael: I do accept nonfiction projects, including textbooks, as well as fiction.

Non-fiction: science for non-scientists including environmental; foreign or domestic policy; historical; biography; military history; baseball; historical memoir; and textbooks at all grade or college levels particularly those in large survey-type courses (Intro to Psychology, Intro to Biology, Intro to Business, etc.).

Fiction: historical fiction; mystery (legal thriller; history-based; science-based; medical thriller; or crime fiction); political fiction; good story telling of any type; fiction with cultural themes; fiction with a performing or fine arts theme (music, dance, theater, sculpture, or painting); and baseball.

We do not represent children's or YA, fantasy, horror, original screenplays, or poetry.

The Purple Culture

Congratulations to Stephen Boehrer! His courtroom drama, 'The Purple Culture' will be published by Oceanview Publishing in the Spring of 2009.

If you found the documentary 'Deliver Us From Evil' by Amy Berg (nominated for an Oscar) or the Tony Award winner 'Doubt' to speak to you, you'll want to buy a copy of this book as soon as it hits the bookstores.
